9 in ‘09 – January



1. New Event Promotion Spot – To better promote our events, we have created a television spot that speaks directly to business owners at one of the toughest points in our economic history. It encourages them to not sit back a wait for the worst, but to actually take action and control their own destiny. The TV spot directs them online where they can sign up for the upcoming event.

2. Automatic Email Notification – In order to better serve the advertisers at each station, we have implemented an automatic email that is sent to each client when a viewer visits their ActionPage on the BeyondTheTV site. The client can easily choose to “opt out” and not receive these emails at any time.

3. New Product Design – We’ve added Ugly Betty to the list of ABC shows fans can get merchandise of -with the introduction of the Mode Magazine design. Look for more Ugly Betty designs throughout the year.  See it here.

4. Full-color Sales Brochures for Account Executives – In an effort to improve the sales efforts for AEs, we have designed full color brochures about the BeyondTheTV event and program. These brochures were created in MS Word for easy customization.

5. New Product Design – Fans of CBS and late-night TV in particular, get to show their support with the new “I stay up Late Late with Craig” design. I bought one, but I don’t stay up late – I actually watch online – don’t tell anyone!  See it here.

6. Additional Results in My Local Lookup – To give viewers more options when searching locally, we integrated a select number of Google results below the courtesy results. Now when searching for a local business, you have more options and even some news results.  Give it a try!

7. New Product Design – Prison Break may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean we can preserve its memory with a unique design. That’s why we unveiled the Prison Break Running Club – available in all kinds of products, particularly on a gray sweatshirt!  See it here.

8. Primetime Online – More and more, people are watching or catching up on their favorite shows online. We’ve organized and embedded lots of popular shows from NBC and Fox on the BeyondTheTV website. We’ve even created a way for local businesses to get more brand exposure by sponsoring a program. Watch online now.

9. New Product Design – To round out the month, we added another (much needed) design to the CW section of the shop. 90210 fans can show their school spirit with a Lacrosse Jersey (t-shirt) – that makes sense, right?  See it here.
